sa-2.pngPMI South Africa Chapter is a wholly volunteer-managed, non-profit organization with the sole purpose to serve our local membership base and support the promotion and advancement of the art, science, and benefit of the project management and related professions.

Through this, we aim to support the professional growth of our members, corporate organizations, and communities. 

P‏‏MI South Africa Chapte‏‏r (NPC) incorporated 6th December 2001 as a Non-Profit Company, in terms of Schedule 1 and section 10 of the Companies Act, Act 71 of 2008 and section 122 of the Companies Amendment Act, Act 3 of 2011. Registration Number is 2001/029270/08.

A Memorandum of Incorporation is registered by the Board of Directors in accordance with section 13(1) of the Act. The primary object of the Company as stated in its incorporation documents is to foster professionalism in project management.

The company’s rules are reflected by the Chapter Bylaws as approved by PMI, to which PMI SA Chapter is affiliated by annual Charter.
