How much time does volunteering with the chapter require?

It depends on the type of role you choose. Consider how much time you would like to allocate to volunteering:
• A more formal role in the chapter may require a few hours per month
• A committee or project role may require volunteer work a few times per year
• A once-off project or event role may suit a more fluid, ad-hoc commitment

A more appropriate question is to ask what skills you would like to gain from the chapter! The PMI South Africa Chapter collaborates with and welcomes persons of all skill sets and ability levels, appreciating that we all have something to learn from each other. Whether you are wholly proficient at a task, or would like to use volunteering as an opportunity to develop a certain skill — we are here to support you.
