Planning, managing and executing projects in the South African context is challenging, and having access to like-minded individuals in times of need is indispensable. The PMI South Africa Chapter connects individuals in a unique, close-knit community environment, providing leadership, guidance and support without restriction.

When joining PMI, you become part of a global community of changemakers. PMI membership offers a host of benefits including:

No. PMI membership is entirely separate from PMI certifications. However, as a PMI member you will have access to many benefits including discounts on your certification exam fee and discounts on professional development opportunities.
PMI membership is for one year from the date of your membership activation. You can renew your membership as early as 90 days before your membership expiration date. You can find your membership status in your myPMI profile on PMI.org.
No. There are separate fees and separate processes to renew your membership or your certification. Membership is on a one-year cycle and your certification renewal is on a three-year cycle. Feel free to contact us at coordinator@pmi.org.za if you need further assistance.
