APPLICATION PROCESS

The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world’s leading project management organisation with over 500,000 global members as well as over 300,000 local Chapters internationally.

The process to become a member is a very simple twostep process.

1. First join global PMI

The global PMI membership fee structure is as follows:

  • Standard membership - $129.00 (approx. R1955,64)
  • Student members - $32.00 (approx. R485.12)
  • Retirees - $105.00 (approx. R1591.80)
  • Group membership varies depending on the size of the group

The actual rand value will depend on the rand dollar exchange rate at the time of registration.

2. Secondly join the South African Chapter

The South Africa Chapter membership fee structure is as follows

  • Standard Chapter membership - $30.00
  • Student Chapter membership – $16.00
  • Retirees - $105.00 (approx. R1591.80)
  • Group Chapter membership varied depending on the size of the group.

The actual rand value will depend on the rand dollar exchange rate at the time of registration.
